About us
Established in 2017, STUDIO I7 embarked on its musical journey driven by a profound passion and fascination for the art form. The group is making a notable mark with their in-house event series, surpassing expectations and emerging as a noteworthy presence in the southern German scene. Comprising founding members David, Cem, Julez, and later joined by Coppola and Macey, the collective aims to redefine the electronic music landscape in Stuttgart, advocating for a collaborative spirit among artists.

Our
Story
Championing the principles of minimalism and purism, both in their daily lives and musical endeavors, STUDIO I7 firmly believes in the adage "less is more." Their philosophy centers on the art of conveying a rich experience with simplicity, creating a distinctive atmosphere. Demonstrating this philosophy at events in Zurich, Basel, Pristina, Barcelona (Off Week), and their own productions, the group showcases a keen understanding of the crowd's emotions and vibes. Their curated selection of music, often sourced from international record shops, reflects a commitment to authenticity, with a preference for analogue DJing as they view it as both a challenge and an art form.

Diversity is at the forefront of STUDIO I7's musical approach, with each member contributing a unique sound. The collective's range spans from laid-back to energetic, ensuring they carefully consider and match the right member to the appropriate place and time, thereby guaranteeing optimal conditions for a memorable event. Adaptable to any location and event, the group excels in bringing people to the dance floor.
Each member of STUDIO I7 harbors a longstanding fascination with underground music, a passion fueled by frequent attendance at national and international festivals.
Exposure to groundbreaking parties and the cultivation of international contacts serve as wellsprings of inspiration and motivation. The distinctive "black door with the white 17" symbolizes the collective's name, as it was within this room, adjacent to their current studio, that David, Cem, and Julez first discussed their ideas for musical and social development in and around Stuttgart.

Observing a lack of the collective idea in contrast to other cities, the group became motivated to bridge this gap. For STUDIO I7, music is the catalyst for connection, and their commitment to collaboration stems from a belief that collective efforts foster growth, learning, and the creation of new visions. With these principles in mind, STUDIO I7 was founded as a collective driven by fascination, inspiration, and motivation.
